[Day 8 - Early Afternoon] Where the Wyld Things Are (Wyldside)

[Boogiepop]

The found lead from Priya would direct the group of committee members moonlighting as investigators to the Wyldside. The Wyldside was a club and supposedly the origin of the G-Mod Wylder subculture, seeing no shortage of popularity anytime soon. Despite its coveted status, it was located deep in the lower levels of Harriman Dome and neighbours the residential slums. It was hard to find at first but once found, its presence was easily the brightest thing on the street with its interior music loud enough to be heard from its bright flashy neon entrance. There were holographic projections of jungle shrubs extending past its otherwise mundane interior.

Finding the said camera wasn't hard once they knew where to look, which was pointed at the metal door at the side of the club. The transport buggy wasn't anywhere to be found.

"Well, here we are. Haven't been clubbing on Luna in aaaaages."
Jane stretches her arms nonchalantly as she looks back at the others.

The bioroid was there alright, bracelet with the NAG badge hidden beneath a leather jacket this time, a green tank top, black jeans, flat sneakers and viking braids completing a rather... Impactful look.

"Has the scene changed much since then, miss Jane?", the bioroid asked casually as the silver glow of their eyes scanned the place.

[Leo Knight]

"Too bad you'll have to wait for a bit." Leo growled. It wasn't an especially unfriendly growl. Just the usual amount.

He looked around, scowling; again, just the usual amount of unfriendly, with perhaps a bit of tired and stressed on top of it. "They can't have gone far. Anyone see anything?" The scowl deepened. "Act casual. This place is probably monitored."

Recalling the footage that was found and sent to the group, it seemed that the two culprits took their rather suspiciously person-sized shipment through the double metal doors at the side. It was a bit out of the way that many clubbers didn't get the bright idea of sneaking around the side and take this entrance. The doors are made with reinforced metal, perhaps large enough to send crates and skids through but not large enough for a vehicle to comfortably drive through. From the looks of it, they were locked with a mechanical lock.

Leo's suspicions had valid credence as there were a few cameras from both the establishment and the government pointed in their direction. They were seen but whether or not they were considered worthy of notice was another question.

[Leo Knight]

Leo grunted, looking at the lock. "Two of you think you can make some sort of distraction while I deal with that?" He nodded over towards the door and lock.

He waited until the two did something before moving to the door. But not long. Every moment meant more time where they could be spotted, or something could happen to Nadia.

[Lina (NAG Mk3-19)]

"A... Distraction?"

The bioroid seemed a bit unsure. Something illegal had done. They knew this was not necessarily a place where people cared about the law, and by now they sure knew the law was not always fair.

But in the current circumstances? They would probably tend to just flaunt a 'we need to inspect here' of sorts. It would attract more attention, that much was true, but
...

Well, what 'could' they do for now?

They let instincts take over (were those instincts?? Did a bioroid have those?) and stood a couple steps away from Leo and the lock, a serious face looming over whoever might decide to step closer.

If that would disencourage those who would be more likely to be paying attention was anybody's guess, of course.

A sound would come from inside the door as the old locking bolt was fiddled with and unlocked.



Someone dressed in a clean waiter's uniform. After what must have been a very lengthy off-camera stealth portion of his escape, the man only looked a bit stunned to see who was waiting for him on the other side. Some might recognize the man as a clone from the Cordova line, often used in high-tier restaurants and places of customer service. Not knowing if there were friends or foes, they perhaps had one moment before he would follow with fight or flight.

Jane reaches for the snub nosed pistol at her side and tazes the poor guy before he can open his mouth

"..!!" Getting tasered before didn't make the experience any less painful and there was the massive expression of a pained cringe as he sank to his knee at the stunning shot.

[Leo Knight]

Leo waited until electricity stopped going through the man before stepping forward, taking out his PAD.

"We're looking for this woman." He said, calling up an image of Nadia. He didn't really see the need to add anything, like you'd better if you know what's good for you, or anything like that. After all, he was partnered with someone who said hello with a tasing!

[Jane Doe]

Deadpan "Don't act so shocked."

A clone? The observation of the somewhat surprising new arrival circles around in the bioroid's circuits before they can react. That... cannot be one of them?, the answer comes after a second of whirring.

Still too slow to say anything before Jane zapped him. "Who..." they start, but the synop pistol had already been shot.

"Miss Jane, Leo, wait", they suddenly said in a lower voice, a second too late.

They looked back to see if there was any reaction from anyone around, then tried to look behind the clone. Was there anyone else involved?

For now, they waited for the clone's answer, although they at least *tried* to give him a more friendly look?

(Was that friendly? Did that even matter after tasing him?...)

It stung like hell and he needed a moment to recompose himself after the electricity coursed through his body before rolling on his back and catching his breath. His vision was blurry a little when he was shown the image of Nadia and it took a moment for him to focus. There were some people who glanced over at their area as they interrogated him but they easily moved on. It seemed they either got the impression that this man deserved it or knew it was just a clone, nothing of shock here.

"...Yes. I've seen her..." He groaned with a few coughs.

It seemed the door had made enough noise with his almost stealthy escape and there were some steps coming from a hallway.

[Jane Doe]

"Whereabouts?"

Jane takes up position on one side of the door, evidently prepared to just continually taze everyone in the building if they were a possible threat.

Ok... some attention on them, but apparently not that much. Could be better, could be worse.

The bioroid stepped forward, trying to call Jane's and Leo's attention. "Miss Jane, Mister... a clone is unlikely to be our kidnapper, I suppose?"

Then, speaking to the clone with what should be a soothing tone (could it be coming from a plasteel face with glowing eyes?). "Thanks, mr..." There wasn't a name to put to him, once again. "... mr clone. Can you tell us where?". Then, with a softer tone, closer to him. "And... what is it you're running from, mr?"

Right when they say that, they notice Jane has asked pretty much the same... just more straightforwardly and not as nicely

Felix Cordova

Getting bombarded with questions after getting tasered gave him the slight impression that he might have made it to safety but he couldn't be so sure, especially as a clone. However, he wasn't in the clear yet. He would roll over to the side as they talked and asked him questions, giving some indication that he was planning to stand up or get on his knees if they would allow him. However, he would point behind him where once he came from when it was regarding who he was running away from.

It didn't take long for the footsteps to hurry and a Loonie woman to burst from the doors.

"...What?" She would blurt out loud when she found herself in front of this group waiting at the door.

Leo wasn't necessarily about to start killing everyone, but, well, the tased clone did seem to indicate that Nadia was inside. So... this was their one chance.

And come to think of it, he pulled up the image from his PAD... yep. This was the woman who'd approached Nadia.

"We're here for the girl." Leo said, his voice rough.
