Nihongai is known as “Little Tokyo” to many in New Angeles. After Jinteki moved its headquarters to New Angeles twenty years ago, the city had exploded exponentially in growth. The district is home to many residents who are either Japanese immigrants or of Japanese descent, sparked by the move of the biotech giant and the economic boom by the construction of the Beanstalk. Twenty years later, Jinteki has taken up a quarter of the district and many of their employees call the district home. It is difficult to enter the district and not be reminded of the renowned biotech megacorporation, especially when they’ve been so instrumental in defining both the growth and design of the district.
Jinteki has done much to uplift the district's beautification and it’s obvious its abundance of open-air and peaceful green spaces. Neighbourhoods are kept pristine by clones, orderly by strict private security and have a good abundance of parks and gardens found nearby every corner. The district’s good reputation does make it an expensive place to stay, often up by high-ranking corporate officers, celebrities and key personnel in politics. Many of Jinteki’s employees are subsidized to live here, although in small quarters that are reminiscent of those found in Neo Tokyo.
Jinteki Biotech is the headquarters of the Japanese megacorporation, the Tourist Quarter is maintained to attract tourists to New Angeles’ own Little Tokyo. The Residential Quarter is where many of Jinteki’s employees and clones reside. The New Akiba Quarter is where many New Angelinos find the new bleeding edge technology for sale.
Delight Repose Capsule Hotel
This capsule hotel is modelled exactly like those found in Japan and the rest of Asia. They provide minimalistic accommodations that consist of only a sleeping unit and a storage locker to store items. While not ideal accommodations, they do provide one of the most affordable options in Nihongai. Some units have entertainment units attached to them or the option to be surrounded by screens to create the illusion of being surrounded by a background of the guest's choice. The process here is fully automated from the moment the guests check in, with clones visiting hourly to do cleaning and other maintenance.
Shinseibutsu Zoological Garden
The Shiseibutsu Zoological Garden is operated by Jinteki and they flex their biotech prowess proudly here. There are several holdings dedicated to exotic animals around the world, although all of them have been created in a Jinteki lab. This allows them to create extinct wonders such as recreation of animals resembling the dodo bird, sabre tooth tiger and the polar bear as some examples. The zoo also goes beyond this by engineering the genetic make-up of existing animals and resulting in the creation of bears with bird-like features and sharks with fluorescent stripes. Naturally, the megacorporation's creations extend to flora as well, where they are able to create lush habitats to fit each animal regardless of climate.
- Location Rules
There are Teacup Giraffes found here and visitors may spend time to appreciate their adorable nature, regaining the appropriate amount of strain. They can also be purchased here for 3,000 Credits.
This traditional Chinese restaurant is found at the edge of the tourist quarter and it is hidden away in a complex of small offices, found a few floors below the main entrance. The restaurant owned by Derek Wu specializes in dim sum with a large variety of offerings. They are often found served in automated carts that roam throughout the restaurant and the customers are charged automatically for each item. The dim sum restaurant is often packed during lunchtime and it is near impossible to find seating It's not unusual customers will find themselves sharing a table with another set of customers. Many will find the dining experience here hectic and lacking in comfort but the dim sum here is easily one of the best in the district.

Starfinity Xtreme Game Arcade
As modern gaming kept upgrading at an accelerated pace just beyond the reach of the living room of customers, some arcades have found themselves returning as hosts of advanced gaming once again. The arcade takes up several floors in a cylindrical building with glass walls. Even felt from outside, the entertainment centre is often abuzz with a cacophony of sounds and a display of lights. Each level is generally separated by their offerings, from archaic cabinets that look like they would belong in a museum to threedees live augmented reality gaming. Games requiring brain-machine interfaces have grown in popularity and the arcade is known for hosting Strikefore Alpha tournaments with the locals.
