Priya Khatri

Archetype: Cyborg
Identifies as/Biological sex: Female
Marital Status: Single
Occupation: Assistant Director of Network Security Research and Development at Haas-Bioroid, Mayor's Committee Member
Age: 34
Height: 5'6"
Build: Average
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Digital Blue

Priya Khatri has been a long-serving employee of Haas-Bioroid for over a decade. She began as a sysop working under the Haas-Bioroid Lakshmi Smartfabrics division in Mumbad before quickly providing herself with her skills and showing enough initiative to be promoted through the ranks of the megacorporation. It didn't take too long for her to be transferred to the United States mainland in SanSan where she managed several of their systems safeguarding many of their bleeding-edge technology projects. She has been recently promoted to being the seat of assistant director in New Angeles to oversee research and development of network security. As a chosen member of the mayor's committee, her role is to advise on Network Security and maintaining Haas-Bioroid interests on Luna.

The assistant director conducts herself with professionalism all the time, although often prefers to delegate more social aspects to her assistants or bioroid on staff. Her personality appears to be wary at first, perhaps just a habit of her career, preferring to be cautious and meticulous. At times, She appears to be busy internally, as she attempts to micromanage several aspects of her job on the Network. Priya is often dressed well for an appointment or a meeting. She has some cybernetics that aids her in many aspects of her job, her unnatural blue eyes are perhaps the most obvious and she has integrated circuitry around her temples that might hint of an installed brain-machine interface. Occasionally, she is escorted by a security bioroid, Zeus 2R5T1X.

Haas-Bioroid • Bioroid • Security Escort • Very Stunning

The Zeus model of Bioroids is reportedly still in the testing phase before being sold to the public. They have found their way alongside many Haas-Bioroid executives and other VIPs. They possess an all and imposing humanoid frame however but lack all the facial features, hands and even feet aesthetics that would make them even remotely humanly passable. The Bioroids are often dressed for public appearances but the odd mechanical mitts and feet jut out awkwardly. With the unneeded frills aside, the headspace is filled with improved optics and detection features to add to their intended duties. It boasts a large suite of quick non-lethal stun-based takedown methods.

Emilio Gomez
Best known as James Rye

Archetype: Natural
Identifies as/Biological sex: Male
Marital Status: Divorced
Occupation: Best-Selling Author, Futurist, Producer for the NBN, Mayor's Committee Member
Age: 41
Height: 5'9"
Build: Average
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown

Emilio Gomez is the son of Hector Gomez, a manufacturing plant manager, and Melissa Rye, a desk clerk. He was born and raised in the megacity of SanSan. After graduating from university with an arts degree, Emilio relentlessly pursued a career in writing, often doing freelance work to pay the bills. His passion project was Shell, a fictional work that he had poured his free time into and an idea based on a collection of childhood homages. Eventually, he was able to find a publisher that would distribute his work on a Network platform and the occasional print media by request. He would use the pen name James Rye for his releases, using his mother's maiden name. Shell took off in popularity and garnered a rapid loyal following that earned the attention of the NBN. Licensed games and toys were made based on his series.

The NBN would later bring him onboard the megacorporation as a creative producer to their entertainment studios. He would later create the series City 994, a property that would lend itself easily more marketable than his previous work and Shell found itself put on an indefinite hiatus. A live-action miniseries was released on threedees and sensies in near-tandem to literary work in the last decade. His newest creative series is Light Wave which delves more in the direction of science-fantasy and reportedly a work he had been hoping to release after Shell. While the public opinions regarding Light Wave are a bit mixed, the NBN has already slated a movie adaption for consideration.

Emilio can be talkative and personable, especially when approached on his terms. He is easily passionate about his work and ideas of the future, despite being a bit far-fetched at the moment. His fashion sense is business casual, often favouring blazers or leather jackets to go with an open collar shirt. He wears fashionable smartspecs that often provide live detail updates regarding his work. Having been elected to be a part of the mayor's committee, likely to his celebrity status, he is excited to see where this might lead for future developments on Luna and the solar system.

Light Wave
Light Wave is Gomez's most recent work in the last few years. A science-fantasy series wherein the far future humans can transmit their data to the reaches of the galaxy in light speed transmissions, enabling space travel to colonize new worlds. However, in this process, their data outlives their physical selves. When they have arrived at these faraway planets, they transform into hard light constructs forming colonies and empires into separate factions. Despite their new forms, called Lumens, very human conflicts are present. The first few books are about the formation of this Empire on a new system, then later books deal with a future war and even a reuniting with the future humans. A movie is currently in talks.

City 994
In a near-future world, humans have relinquished most of their decision-making to an omnipresent artificial intelligence that now governs over the entire human race. These decisions include government, relationships, and even so far as biological functions. In this dystopia, the engineer class, who maintain this AI and its servants live in the most comfort. The rest of society are labourers and live their life in monotony. The books focus on a group of teens who are erased from the system one day by a glitch and are inadvertently considered dead by their society. For the first time, they wander out of the city, discovering the truth about their society and eventually banding with an underground group much like themselves. This series has been made into a few miniseries (including threedees and sensies).

Shell
The Shell series is one of Gomez's earliest works. In this near-future world, the solar system is decimated by an alien invasion known as 'The Mass", taking the form of a biological parasite that has infected every planet inside the asteroid belt. This has unfortunately made the surface of the Earth uninhabitable and drove humanity underground. Humans only take to the surface occasionally in combative robotic suits, called Shells, that fight the mutations that are made with this parasite. Clones, who are mysteriously mostly immune to the parasite, are also one of humanity's rivals in this setting. Later on, the series veers off into fighting zombies and spectres made by the biological parasite. Games and toys have been made based on Shell.

Shell has yet to be given a proper ending, the last book in the series was released twelve years ago.

Debra Slee
Best known as Chief Slee

Archetype: G-Mod
Identifies as/Biological sex: Female
Marital Status: Single
Occupation: Security Chief at Argus Security, Committee Security
Age: 32
Height: 5'8"
Build: Athletic
Hair: Brown with Fluorescent Blue Highlights
Eyes: Blue

Security Chief Debra Slee, or merely known as Chief Slee, is one of the soldiers in the Weyland Consortium’s payroll. After a brief stint in the United States Army, Chief Slee transitioned to security contracting at Argus Security with the promise of benefits, higher pay, and greater freedom in her field. She has been deployed around the world, taking up a number of missions and tours before her eventual promotion as security chief. Presently, she watches over key assets and personnel associated with the Weyland Consortium, as well as anything else the Megacorporation may need on the side. Her reputation is founded on getting the job done with brutal results and she does love her job.

The veteran of several missions and operations, Chief Slee is well-honed as a soldier and maintains the best of her habits from her previous training as well as some genetic modifications. She enjoys the liberties of working in the private sector, her hair is often adorned with bright highlights, and her face sports some distinctive tattoos. In action with full preparation, she’s often in her customized plasteel carapace armour and armed to the teeth. When appearing in more formal settings, she's stuck wearing the company uniform, which she's less fond of.

Aleksandra Zajac
"Alex" Zajac

Archetype: Natural
Identifies as/Biological sex: Female
Marital Status: Single
Occupation: Clone Field Technician at Jinteki
Age: 24
Height: 5'7"
Build: Slender
Hair: Pink
Eyes: Brown

Alex's parents were part of the later wave of immigrants from Europe during the New Angeles employment boom. Her parents were packed into the supposedly temporary housing units of the district of Rabotgorod and had one daughter despite the dwindling opportunities as the use of android labour became popularized around the world. Alex persevered through poverty and a tough neighbourhood until she managed to get herself enrolled in one of Levy University's Network-based programs toward a modest degree in medicine. She was eventually picked up for an internship by one of Jinteki's recruitment drives, worked through the drudge work of an entry-level position and is now employed as a clone field technician. Her duties as a clone field technician include medical maintenance, warranty support, and lifecycle evaluation. She is often required to travel around the city to meet the clones and their owners.

Alex doesn't make herself noticeable socially and doesn't seem to take to people easily. She usually goes in and out where she needs to be, focusing on her job. Her naturally blonde hair has been altered pink and often tied into a bun. She wears archaic glasses and it doesn't appear to be a fashion statement nor technical hardware. As a certified Jinteki clone field technician, Alex is often seen in her uniform which consists of a deep red jacket and matching pants with a button-up shirt. She keeps a satchel full of medical tools and clone nutritional supplements. It is also standard company policy that all clone technicians are armed with a stun gun while on duty. She has spent enough time employed as a technician to be able to delegate the younger staff to other jobs or harder tasks if need be.
