On the Edge (D4 LM, Open)

The least urbanized and most rural district in New Angeles. La Costa serves both as a place of agriculture to feed the megacity's large population and ecological conservation.

On the Edge (D4 LM, Open)

A bioroid left the public transport at the northernmost reaches of the La Costa district - far from the touristy parts of the district and into the area where agricultural complexes composed most of the landscape. Despite the probably uncommon sight - at least for bioroids not directly involved in the agroplexes themselves - they seemed to walk leisurely and casually in a white T-shirt and black jeans. After a while, they set a drone moving, sending it higher and higher, trying to get a good and interesting photo. The contrast between green areas and urban sprawl would make for an interesting photo, hopefuly.

And then... there was the contrast between New Angeles and Ecuador. Right at the border. What was it like? Could it even be seen? Was there a noticeable difference? Was there a clear border?

And... were there paths?

OOC:
D4 LM - On the Edge. Perception vs Avg (support for Expo): 1eP+4eA+2eD 1 success, 4 advantage

Also! - trying to see if Lina can get an understanding of the border in the La Costa region. That will probably require another roll, I'm guessing?
Bioroid * New Angeles Government Mk 3 Model * Government Overseer * Upgraded
Female-like but unnatural * Direct * Cutting words * Sometimes a bit scary...

Carries: Firearm, Nonlethal weapons, Crowd-control grenade, Comm, Snap lock, NAG uniform. No obvious armour?
Cross body bag with: Repair packs, slaps, stims, more Snap locks, monocam, PAD. More things?

Lina managed to take pictures and footage of the surrounding area, teeming with thick vegetation and flora that hid all of the life that could be found within. They weren't impressive enough to end up on a wildlife article or picture gallery but they would serve as decent enough fodder to be used for the purposes of showcasing the drone capabilities. The drone would have to fly rather high to get a good scope of the area, considering that the land around La Costa wouldn't perfectly flat and there were different elevations with the surrounding flora that hid much of what could be found beyond. However, Lina could at least use the drown to get a sense of what was around them.

While most of La Costa was preserved and most of the territory was reserve for the wild, the ultimate truth was that it still found itself surrounded by urban life. There were the expensive condos that could be found at the edge of the district, slightly creeping in as developers fought hard to get territory to build places that risties would pay top-dollar for. New Angeles didn't end where urban life ceased as there was a good share of Ecuadorian settlements that were built surrounding New Angeles from the outside. The allure of the city was too much to ignore, especially to their neighbours. Naturally, it would mean that the borders of La Costa leaving into Ecuador were likely policed as well.
