Quinde is considered to be one of the main industrial centres of New Angeles. The construction of factories and industrial plants blossomed during the birth of the Space Elevator, readily providing toward the growth of the rapidly expanding city. Labour was criminally cheap here but it still fell prey to the introductions of clones and bioroids into the modern workforce. The large presence of Humanity Labor is said to keep some of those jobs occupied by humans but the labour group finds itself in an uphill cold war with the dominant megacorporations. The same factories and manufacturing complexes are still in operation, just their employees have changed. Some of those factories have become manufacturing centres, creating more clones and bioroids to be shipped around the world. Many visitors to the district will find it cold, dreary, and faintly artificial. At certain hours of the day, it's easy to catch streams of identical clones and bioroids moving through the streets to and from their work like clockwork.
Haas-Bioroid bioroid factories and Jinteki clone plants are also found here in the districts of "Golem Grove" and "The Meat Market", respectively. The subdistinct of Colonche is largely neglected by the Android megacorporations and run-down in comparison.
Arms and Hammers
The weapons store specializes solely in conventional weaponry such as sledgehammers, slugthrowers, and the occasional fletcher. The owners, Lukas Fritz, and Sheila Blount, have brokered a deal with the local NAPD to keep them away from scrutiny. This relationship is vital as they occasionally provide untraceable weapons. At this point, the store’s purpose is an open secret to the community, attracting criminals, off-the-books corporate muscle, and corrupt NAPD alike.
Yucabean
Yucabean is the most popular coffee shop chain in New Angeles, often finding itself with a kiosk or coffee shop within a few blocks from each other. This particular franchise location on Tierra Street and Libertad Avenue is built like any other with its bioroidistas at every counter but surprisingly this location is where many android issues-related anarch groups meet informally to trade ideas. Their cause currently wavers between supporting Humans First or the fringe android liberation groups, debates among them are typically sparked during the late hours of the night.
The Spot
The Spot finds itself in the vague mid-point between Golem Grove and The Meat Market. The tavern itself adopts a somewhat quaint motif, the interior decor is a cross between a homage to a vintage-style diner and a homemade hang-out basement cave. There are several vintage artifacts on display, including a few motorcycles and an old-fashion jukebox with a curated collection of archaic rock songs. They have a patio balcony with lawn furniture joined by potted plants overlooking the district and providing a great view. All employees and customers here are human as the tavern serves as a popular getaway for both the Jinteki and Haas-Bioroid plant employees (the few humans that are needed to run such facilities nowadays). It gives them a reprieve from looking at android and provides them with much-needed human contact.
